Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: July 1, 2025

This policy governs refunds and cancellations across all Services offered by Texabyte, including SaaS product subscriptions, training programme enrollments, and custom software projects.


1. TRAINING PROGRAMMES

1.1 Participant-Initiated Cancellation

  • More than 48 hours before batch start date: Full refund within 7 working days.
  • Within 48 hours of batch start date: 50% refund.
  • After the batch has commenced: No refund.

1.2 Texabyte-Initiated Cancellation

If we cancel a batch due to insufficient enrollment or operational reasons, all enrolled participants will receive a full refund within 7 working days.

1.3 Mid-Programme Exits

Participants who voluntarily exit mid-programme are not entitled to a refund for the remaining period.

2. SAAS PRODUCT SUBSCRIPTIONS (Victarus & Other Products)

2.1 Free Trial Period

Where a free trial is offered, no payment is taken during the trial period. You may cancel at any time during the trial with no charge.

2.2 Paid Subscriptions — Monthly

  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • No refunds are issued for partial months used.

2.3 Paid Subscriptions — Annual

  • Annual plans may be eligible for a pro-rated refund if cancelled within 14 days of renewal.
  • No refund after 14 days of the billing date.

2.4 One-Time Purchases

All one-time purchases are non-refundable unless the product is demonstrably non-functional and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time.

3. CUSTOM SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

3.1 Refund eligibility for custom projects is governed exclusively by the Service Agreement or Statement of Work (SOW) signed between Texabyte and the client.

3.2 In general:

  • Milestone-based payments are non-refundable once the milestone deliverable has been accepted.
  • If Texabyte is unable to deliver due to internal reasons, a fair refund of unused milestone amounts will be provided.
  • Disputes regarding deliverable quality must be raised within 7 days of delivery.

4. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

To initiate a refund request, email us at josh@texabyte.in with:

  • Your name and registered email
  • Order/enrollment/invoice reference
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Date of purchase

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within 7 working days of approval.

5. PAYMENT METHOD FOR REFUNDS

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method where technically possible. In cases where this is not feasible, we will coordinate an alternate method with you.
